No More Crunches Or Situps
Motivation and mindset for permanent fat loss...
Food is an important part of Thai life and there are many alternatives to eating at restaurants. You can get food and snacks almost anywhere - from street vendors, at train and bus stations or even on third-class trains. That's why it's so common to see Thais munch on something any time of the day...

Snacks are plentiful in the land of smiles. However, most of them are sweet by Western standards. So, look at the sugar content on the package before you buy.

Roasted Sunflower & Pumpkin Seeds

Healthy sunflower kernels in Thailand
For those of you who are health conscientious, you might want some healthy snacks while on the road. Here are two quality snacks you can buy when traveling in Thailand: Roasted sunflower kernels and roasted pumpkin seeds, by Flower Food Brand.

Actually, there are many other brands out there but in my opinion they're not as healthy and fresh as Flower Food Brand.

Healthy Ingredients

These snacks only contain either sunflower kernels or pumpkin seeds and salt. The salt content ranges from 0.2-0.5%. Moreover, there's no added palm oil or sugar, like in most snacks.

Seeds are known to be a healthy source of protein. Sunflower kernels are also high in vitamin B1, while pumpkin seeds are high in iron.

Packaging

Thai pumpkin seeds are healthy snacks
These snacks are nitrogen packed so they keep fresh for a long time.

It's easy to spot them in the shelves, just look for a shiny white package with a picture of either a sunflower or a pumpkin with seeds around it.

You can easily notice the red, yellow and green stripes across the upper-left corner of the packages.

The sunflower seeds are available in two sizes: 30 and 80 grams, while the pumpkin kernels come in a 25-gram package.

These healthy snacks are not more expensive than other packaged snacks in Thailand. Where To Buy These snacks can be found in most supermarkets, such as Tops, Big C and Tesco Lotus. If you can't locate a supermarket, just go to Seven Eleven.

Enjoy!
